POCKET MANDOLIN $10 POCKET MANDOLIN is Kontakt instrument from “MOSAIC” series. We used A-style Eastman mandolin, Schoeps microphone and Api preamp. This mandolin instrument features 9 fully independent sound layers. Imagine layers meaning keyswitch articulations, but instead keyswitch, you can turn articulation on and off, pan it and blend it with dedicated fader. LAYERS : 1-2 : Sustain 3-4 : Staccato 5-6 : Tremolo Close 7-8 : Tremolo Far 9 : Cresc-decresc / Acc-Rit (slowly speeds up while getting louder, and slows down with fade out) We recommend using layer pairs together, and panning them opposite to get with and natural sound (except layer 9) |
